Meet The Team At Our Treatment Center In Palm Beach

Ashley McGeeney
Ashley McGeeneyChief Executive Officer
When she isn’t in our treatment center in Palm Beach, Ashley McGeeney studies at Palm Beach State College. Ashley is currently majoring in Addiction Studies and is also studying for her CAP (certified addiction professional). Before starting in this field, Ashley worked as an Office Manager at T&G Construction Services, specializing in the rehabilitation of foreclosed properties. Ashley also has experience working on both sides of the Addiction Field. She helped open four sober living facilities and is a Lead Coordinator at AAR Recovery Residences as well as a Lead Dispatcher at Sober Transport. In addition to working and studying in the addiction field, Ashley spends her time volunteering for a local high school marching band. Ashley’s passion for working in this field was sparked by her mother, who is has lived a sober life for a sober 20 years. Ashley plans on working in the Addiction field for years to come, as she aspires to help people and continue to change lives.
John Engelbrecht

John has 16yrs Mental Health experience and 8 plus years in the Addictions Field. John’s credentials are as follows: he is a CAP-Certified Addictions Professional in Florida, LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, LCMHC-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Vermont, BCPPC-Board Certified Christian Counselor, NCC-National Certified Counselor, and a DCC-Distant Credentialed Counselor. He received a Bachelors in Theology in 1984 and went on to receive a Masters in Counseling from Liberty University in 1996. He has extensive experience in Substance Abuse and worked in both the private and non-profit sector.

Dr. Duboy has more than 25 years of experience in practicing psychiatry. He is Board Certified in psychiatry and has a special interest in addiction psychiatry. Dr. Duboy has extensive experience in treating co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Dr. Duboy completed his psychiatric residency training at the esteemed Cabrini Medical Center / New York Medical College in New York City. Dr Duboy also completed a fellowship with New York University at the Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Duboy understands the disease concept of alcoholism and addiction, listening to his patients and treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Richard Jackson

Born and raised in Queens, NY Richard began writing for hip hop magazines in the mid 90’s while attending Queens College. A fan of rap culture, the writing experience allowed Richard to meet many of his favorite artists and develop a talent for communication and journalism; including another passion photography. As the era came to an end, Richard moved to Florida to take up residency in 1999. During this time he started a production company that would see him produce many hip hop beats for up and coming artists and established acts. Revisiting his desire to create films and videos came full circle and Richard began Nyceflix in 2011 going full time with photography and creative development. His first output was a series of documentaries that went on to film festivals throughout the country. Since this time Nyceflix and Richard have created a body of conscious, uplifting and thought provoking films that have reached PBS and beyond.
Manny Mendez

Manny is a seasoned self taught artist, as a kid he doodled around, and did graffiti, but it wasn’t until he hit some troublesome times in his life that he really found something in art, unfortunately it was in institutions and jails where he really nurtured his gift, unknowingly he would be finding his purpose in life. 

Manny has 6 1/2 yrs clean is the founder of Foreel Recovery and Co Founder of The Art Of Recovery Film Festival, his art has been displayed in numerous exhibits and he has traveled the country, he uses his art to not only raise awareness but to donate to different charities to raise funding for them. He’s also the producer of 6 inspirational documentaries and has traveled the country featuring his films. Last year he was an instrumental piece in putting together The Art For Hope Tour and being a guest speaker at National Press Club for the FedUp Rally 2017 in Washington DC. 

Johnny Mars

Johnny Mars has worked in various areas of the Music Industry for over 16 years, and is known for his reliable intuition in commercial mainstream music. His extensive and diverse experience in many intricate facets of the industry has allowed the flexibility to effectively work with both creative and business professionals alike.

With just a few credits to go to complete his Music Business Degree, Mars was offered two jobs in New York City in the same month. He would Manage an NBA Basket player with the NY Knicks and work as a Jr. A&R at an established record company in Manhattan. Mars accepted both opportunities and moved to NY for 3years. This chapter of his life shaped him into the executive that he is today.

Mars continues to strive for excellence, while giving back to the community. He has been educating and mentoring new and emerging artists, musicians, producers, and engineers through a series of Music Business workshops.
Through his consulting service, he’s also guided several new comers through this highly complex Music Business.

Mars has worked with a hand full of established artists in entertainment today, whether its creating original music, Branding, Engineering, or Consulting, to assisting artists with branding.   He emphasizes the importance of creative a unique sound that separates one artist from the bunch.  

Mars has worked with The Flip Tones, Young Money, Jason Derulo, Jim Jones, Zoey Dollaz, DMX, Kevin Lyttle, Jaimie Foxx, King Los, Idarose, and Multiple projects from Republic, Capital, Epic, Defjam, Sony, and Atlantic Records. 

Dustin Deelawk Talvacchia

Dustin Have taught professionally for over 18 years. Teaching at many dance schools, high schools, and charter art schools. He also performed on a professional level for over 15 years. He competed regularly, wining dance and talent competition, like World Class Hip Hop / Street Dance competitions. He also worked multiple times as a judge for Stockton State College as the hip hop judge for there state wide dance competition.
